Winter Walks on
the Blue Ridge Parkway
What will we do?
The Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most iconic roads in the country. Unfortunately, it closes to motor traffic in the winter. This tour takes advantage of the closure and allows you the unique experience of hiking on the Parkway, without visitors or cars.
This tour begins at the meeting location in Asheville, then you ride in the Adventure Van on backroads to access the Blue Ridge Parkway. You will hike along with amazing mountain views and even through the famous Parkway tunnels.
Plus, you will enjoy delicious coffee and hot chocolate while you soak in the views.
We provide Water, Snacks, Hot Chocolate & Coffee, and any gear that may be needed. (Trekking poles, ponchos, first aid kit)
All you need to bring is warm comfortable clothes (layers are good!)
What are people saying?
Our family really enjoyed
this waterfall tour. Our tour guide was excellent and thought of everything
we might possibly need
(water, energy bars, oranges, etc.)

It was our first time to Asheville and we wanted to see something special and the waterfalls did not disappoint. Clayton, our guide, is super knowledgeable, friendly and made the hike so much fun! Having a private hike allowed us to enjoy the nature and beauty at our own pace. I highly recommend this hike!
